Situated close to the junction of London Wall and Wood Street, this award winning commercial development was completed in 2007 to replace the previous Royex House. Standing 18 storeys tall, the building comprises more than 275,000 sq ft of prime office space divided into two staggered wings connected by a central recess and three-storey atrium.
Management of the premises is supported by a digital two way radio fleet supplied by Brentwood. We were asked to upgrade an existing analogue system to help improve the efficiency of works coordination throughout the building and raise health and safety standards, including fire and emergency evacuation procedures.
We recommended the Motorola DP2400. Supplied to security, maintenance and cleaning staff, the DP2400 is a highly reliable and robust digital handset designed for general purpose professional use in all environments. Motorola’s best-in-class audio enhancements ensure voice communications can be heard loud and clear at all times, while an emergency alert feature and Lone Worker monitoring provide extra peace of mind if facilities operators are carrying out repairs in tricky areas. Given the size of the building, we also supplied a Motorola DR3000 repeater to boost signal and ensure reliable coverage throughout.
