An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious individual to join a market leading communications organisation as a Hire & Goods In Assistant.

This hands-on role includes some administration and is vital to the hire process within Brentwood Communications Ltd.

With over 40 years in the industry, the company supplies bespoke two way radio design solutions across the UK and worldwide. The role sits within a busy hire department as an essential role to ensure all equipment is up to standard and on/off hired correctly.

Duties include:

  • Taking responsibility for the running of the Hire & Goods In Dept. when colleagues are on holiday.
  • Ensuring all paperwork is filed correctly, once programming information has been logged.
  • Testing and cleaning all hire equipment and report any losses of damages.
  • To take responsibility of all equipment that goes out is correct, the paperwork is complete, radios are clean and the driver has been briefed.
  • To phone customers to arrange the collection of their hires, ensuring all of their details are correct.

This role requires a flexible approach to meet the needs of the business and candidates will also need to be able to adapt to change and use their initiative to get the job done on time, every time. You will be required to work autonomously with little supervision and often under pressure, with early/late starts/finishes when required to meet the needs of the business.

RF Radio Systems Engineer

Brentwood Communications Ltd are actively looking to recruit an RF Radio Systems Engineer to join our growing team based at our Head Quarters in East Hanningfield, Chelmsford, Essex.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Installation of Cable, running in and outside of buildings.
  • Erecting Antennas and Poles in and outside buildings.
  • Installing Antennas and Radio equipment inside vehicles.
  • Working alongside the Technical team in completing site surveys.
  • Working closely with the Sales team providing site survey reports.
  • Ensure all work completed is in line with quality procedures and company standards.

What we’re looking for:

  • Someone who is keen to start a career in Communications, with great potential for personal & professional growth.
  • Experience preferred but not necessarily  required.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Candidate must be okay with working at heights.
  • Minimum 5 GCSE’s grade A-C.
  • Must have a driving licence.
  • Must be a good English Speaker.
  • Must be IT literate.

Sales Support Executive

Our phenomenal growth over the last 5 years means we have a requirement for a talented and tenacious Sales Support Executive to join our highly successful team. You will ideally have a background in technology sales. You will be articulate and confident when speaking to customers and have a natural ability to close the deal. You will be provided with on-going training and encouraged to take up a professional qualification in a subject of your choosing to ensure you personally stay ahead of the game.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Achievement of team target and diversified revenue across multiple industries.
  • First line response to customer enquiries – email and telephone.
  • Consistently meet customer response SLAs.
  • Creation and provision of customer quotes.
  • Consistent completion of ‘4 Pillar’ activities: Enquiry; quote follow up; purchase order confirmation; post sale.

Marketing Manager

This role requires a flexible approach to meet the needs of the business and candidates will also need to be able to adapt to change and use their initiative to get the job done on time, every time. You will be required to work autonomously with little supervision and often under pressure, with early/late starts/finishes when required to meet the needs of the business.

Whilst a specialist in digital marketing, this role requires an overall grasp of general marketing. A specialist in SEO and pay per click advertising, experience in coding would be an advantage but not required for the role. We are looking for someone who is keen to manage their own time and workload, design and develop strategies that fit our business model and aims, and wants to be part of a fantastic small team.
