Customer Service Manager
Role Outline
Brentwood Communications Group (BCL) is a well-established technology company based in East Hanningfield, Essex. We have a vacancy for an experienced Sales Manager who can contribute to and implement a Sales strategy through a team. They should be willing and able to deliver enhanced sales from the team through guidance, instruction, measurement, monitoring, mentoring, coaching, training, supporting, and demonstrating by example. The successful candidate should work with the team to come up with new and improved ways of generating revenue and be proactive in their approach to the Sales function at BCL group. They will be creative, energetic, commercially savvy and will work to understand our customers’ needs & inspire team members to deliver on agreed objectives. They should be highly motivated to achieve the full growth potential of our product and service portfolio across the BCL group.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that the sales staff are clear on their overall objective as a team as well as the part everyone is expected to play through regular team communications (Team Meetings & 1:1s)
- Ensure that all personal sales targets are set and met for revenues and/or margins
- Maintain sales records and report accurately on sales progress to Directors
- Design and deliver training to sales team as and when required
- Lead by example during busier times and quieter times to ensure customer satisfaction and a solid sales pipeline (getting the tension right between busy delivering sales and selling)
- Review, contribute to and implement the BCL group sales strategy
- Work closely with the Customer Xperience Manager to align the customer’s entire encounter (s) to be consistently excellent from BCL Group
Experience and Qualifications Required
- 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role involving exemplary Sales Management skills
- Qualification in Business, Sales and/or Marketing, Organisational Behaviour or Development, Leadership, Psychology, Human Resources, or related discipline

- Highly Developed Communication Skills that are adaptable to training, coaching, and managing the performance of each sales team member
