Best of all, the S900A can operate as a gateway device connecting radio and IP networks. With the ability to seamlessly operate in both modes at once, the S900A offers the agility to communicate with radios and smartphones as if they are part of the same network. And that’s only the tip of the iceberg. Via 4G LTE and WiFi, the S900A can connect to, communicate with and even control any IP-ready device you like, from anywhere.

Along with multimode connectivity, the S900A also combines the best of smartphone and two way radio functionality. With a 4-inch TFT toughened touchscreen made out of Gorilla Glass, the S900A offers a familiar contemporary interface which gives users intuitive access to all the device’s features. It even boasts dual front and rear cameras, an integral part of the modern multimedia device, enabling image and video capture as well as video chat and live streaming.

But regular two way radios will find plenty that’s familiar in this handset, too. First and foremost, there’s the push-to-talk (PTT) button. Whatever type of network you are talking on, all it takes is a simple touch of a button to broadcast – perfect for communicating on the move. There is also the familiar rotary channel select switch for navigating the 1000 available frequency channels in DMR mode, and a multimode antenna that picks up radio, cellular and WiFi signals.

To add further to the rich connectivity mix, the S900A also supports Bluetooth, meaning it can be paired with compatible wireless headsets and other audio accessories.
