A large, tactile push-to-talk button is easy to locate and delivers standard one-touch talk operation. Programmable buttons are simple to set up for optional functions.

Despite its small size, the HP605 is tough and durable. The HP605 is IP67 rated and tested to the Mil-Std-810 G standards for resistance to water, dust and other environmental hazards, meaning it is a two way radio that will keep working hard in the toughest locations, indoors and outdoors in all weathers.

It uses cutting-edge AI-based noise cancellation technology to decrease unwanted background noise and reduce howling, or feedback caused by other users being in close proximity. This digitally enhanced high audio clarity clarity is paired with a powerful loudspeaker which also comes with a unique protection feature – it is designed so water quickly drains away from the sensitive cone should the unit get wet.

In addition, thanks to improved receiver sensitivity, the HP605 provides better connectivity both in marginal areas of coverage and indoors, with a longer signal range than many comparable two way radios.

Hytera PD605 Licence Type

The Hytera PD605 is a licensed two way radio, which means it requires an OFCOM licence to operate. It can work in UHF or VHF frequency bands in the 400-470 MHz and 136-174 MHz ranges, which have access restricted under licence for commercial use.
