More information

The IC-F2000 range features three UHF radios from Icom. This model offers the same functionality as the others in the range, but without the keypad and display, giving it a more streamlined appearance. The unit boasts IP67 protection against challenging environmental conditions, making it ideal for use in rain, dirty environments, and places where it may be dropped in shallow water for short periods of time.

This 16 channel radio benefits from audible channel announcement, as well as inversion voice scrambling to ensure user privacy and security. At just 24.5mm thick, it’s easy to carry in a pocket, or using the optional belt clip. The radio boasts a silent mode for discreet use, and can be used with a range of headsets and microphones.

If your lone worker should need to run, or find him or herself injured, the IC-F2000 can be programmed to sound a man down alarm. Channel announcement assists users in finding the right channel, while 8 autodial memories make communication more efficient.

The radio also features a quiet standby mode, surveillance mode and an escalating alarm.
