More information
Icom’s IC-F2000 range features three different UHF two way radios, ideal for deployment in outdoor environments and noisy factory sites. This model has an LCD display and a simplified keypad, with buttons providing quick access to pre-programmed functionality.
The IC-F2000S offers 128 channels and a voice encryption feature that prevents others from eavesdropping on the conversation. IP67 waterproofing and dustproofing ensures that the radio can be used in harsh environments, and it can be submerged at depths of up to 1 metre, for a maximum of 30 minutes.
Weighing just 240g, and measuring less than 25mm thick, the IC-F2000S is a highly portable solution with the features you need to support lone workers. A motion sensor inside the unit will sound an alarm if horizontal, and will also alert others if the user is running, to give others early warning of a potential problem. Surveillance mode allows you to listen in remotely, while the 36mm speaker has a BTL amplifier for superb sound reproduction.
