More information
Part of Kenwood’s Nexedge range, the NX-3320E3 is a non-display two way radio which combines high quality audio and robust construction with flexible multi-mode functionality.
Operated via the classic combination of push-to-talk button, channel select switch and volume control, the NX-3320E3 is straightforward to use and ideal for novice or inexperienced two way radio users.
It features Kenwood’s trademark Active Noise Reduction (ANR) technology, meaning background noise is cancelled from the signal to provide clean, clear audio even in the noisiest environments. This makes it a great option for use in industry or security where it is critical communications get through no matter what.
To compliment the high quality audio performance, the NX-3320E3 is also built with durability in mind. It meets IP54, IP55 and IP67 standards for water and dust ingress, making it suitable for use outdoors in all weathers and in dusty environments such as on construction sites. It is also built to withstand impact caused by falls and other accidents, meeting US military specifications for shock and temperature resistance.
It comes with an in-built motion sensor used to trigger Man Down alerts in the event of a fall, plus an Emergency Button which interrupts all transmissions over the network should an alarm need to be raised.
The NX-3320E3 operates in both digital and analogue modes simultaneously, making it an ideal migration option for upgrading to digital. Rather than having to switch all handsets to digital at once, existing analogue radios can still be used as part of a mixed fleet.
As well as dual analogue/digital operability, the NX-3320E3 also supports two different digital protocols for voice communications, DMR and Kenwood’s own NXDN protocol. Not only does this mean that NX-3320E3 handsets can communicate with both Kenwood and other brand digital radios, it also provides a flexible range of trunking options for increasing network capacity and using handsets at multiple sites.
The NX-3320E3 operates on UHF bandwidths, with 64 available channels without trunking or expansion. UHF frequencies offer reliable signal coverage in built up environments and when used indoors in places like office buildings, factories and retail parks.
NX-3320E3 handsets come with integrated Bluetooth and GPS. Bluetooth Headset Profile comes as standard for connecting to hands-free accessories, while Serial Port Profile can be added as an option. GPS allows the location of users to be tracked for more effective coordination and management.
