More information

The Vertex VX261 offers a great combination of performance and value. Reliable, efficient and easy to use, this non-display handset is packed full of premium features which make it ideal for use in warehousing and logistics, as well as factories, construction sites, light industry and for events management.

Boasting high performance audio output, the VX261 offers excellent call quality, ensuring callers can be heard clearly in all situations. Operable on both VHF and UHF frequencies, it is readily adapted to use indoors and out. The handset’s compact design make it easy to carry and handle, while it can also be combined with a range of accessories such as speaker microphones, headphones and earpieces to allow for hands-free operation.

The VX261 is also designed to fit in seamlessly with existing two way radio networks, removing the headache of facing compatibility issues when you want to add new hardware. It comes with FleetSync®, MDC1200®, 2-tone and 5-tone encoding, meaning it is interoperable with most other business class radios available and integrates easily with a mixed network.

The VX261 boasts a number of high standard safety features which make it suitable for use in hazardous environments. The Emergency Alert feature allows users to programme the handset to broadcast an SOS at the touch of a button, while Lone Worker requires users to check back in to the network at fixed time intervals. Perfect for workers operating away from their colleagues, the radio will issue an emergency alert if the user does not check in within the allotted time.

The VX261 also comes with Vertex’s innovative Universal Battery System. When running on UNI Lithium Ion batteries, any handset in a number of Vertex ranges can be charged using a single charger base, removing the need to plug in different chargers for different handsets.
