Business Development Manager
We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join our company as Business Development Manager.
Due to continued growth and success, Brentwood Communications, in partnership with M-Tech, is expanding its national field sales team. We are leaders in two-way radio, Body Cams, Drones and all technology communication solutions, delivering tailored, cutting-edge systems across a wide range of industries including security, events, hospitality, construction, and public sector.
This is an exciting new opportunity for an experienced and driven sales professional to join a fast-paced, growing organisation with strong backing and an ambitious roadmap.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Business Development Manager to take ownership of the Central territory, covering Central England , West Midlands and Wales. This field-based role will focus on managing existing key accounts, generating new business, and driving sales growth across the region.
You will report directly to the Group Sales Manager and play a critical role in expanding our footprint, particularly as we scale our presence through M-Tech.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of customer accounts within your region.
- Conduct daily client visits, split evenly between new prospects and existing customers.
- Generate new qualified leads per week through proactive outreach and networking.
- Deliver high-impact, consultative sales presentations that demonstrate value and ROI.
- Follow up all visits within 24 hours to reinforce discussions and outline next steps.
- Maintain an accurate, up-to-date sales pipeline and record all activity in CRM.
- Submit proposals or quotes per day and drive conversion to closure.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets in line with company objectives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Conduct quarterly reviews with key clients to assess satisfaction and uncover growth opportunities.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and product knowledge.
Requirements:
- Proven B2B field sales experience in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills
- experience in Telecomunications,2 way radios, drones would be advantageous.
- Self-starter with excellent time management and territory planning ability
- Experience working with CRM systems and structured sales processes
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the region
