Hire Account Executive

Brentwood Communications / M-Tech Group is a leading provider of two-way radio communication solutions, offering high-quality hire equipment to businesses across various industries. With a strong focus on customer service and innovation, we are expanding our Hire division and seeking two dynamic Hire Account Executives – one for the North and one for the South – to drive business growth and manage new customer acquisition.


Role Overview

As a Hire Account Executive, your primary focus will be securing new business for hire equipment. You will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential customers, managing inbound hire enquiries, and developing long-term relationships to grow our hire portfolio. Working closely with internal teams, you will ensure a seamless hire process, from initial enquiry to contract completion.

This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, results-driven, and passionate about building relationships while driving business growth in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • New Customer Acquisition: Proactively identify and engage with businesses in need of hire equipment, developing a strong pipeline of potential clients.
  • Hire Equipment Sales: Promote and upsell our hire solutions, ensuring customers select the most suitable equipment for their needs.
  • Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Lead Generation: Develop new sales opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, and referrals.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with operations and service teams to ensure a smooth hire process from start to finish.
  • Market Awareness: Keep up to date with industry trends and customer needs to position our hire services effectively.
  • Reporting & Performance Tracking: Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline, and conversions.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, account management, or hire services, preferably within communications, technology, or related industries.
  • A strong track record in generating new business and achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with customers at all levels.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with a drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and prioritise effectively.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tracking tools is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
