Sales Support Executive
We are seeking a proactive and organised individual to support multiple Business Development Manager’ (BDM) in day-to-day sales operations and customer service. This role is vital in ensuring smooth communication with clients, processing sales requests, and coordinating with internal teams. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
BDM Sales Support
- Create and manage sales opportunities.
- Prepare and send quotations to clients.
- Generate programming and engineer request tickets.
- Work with the procurement team to amend order details as needed.
- Respond to customer inquiries on behalf of the BDM, particularly when they are out of the office or on-site.
- Assist with follow-ups and inquiry tickets related to BDM accounts.
- Arrange collections and deliveries as required.
- Coordinate with the service team to ensure smooth operations.
- Update projected close dates in the system.
- Act as the first point of contact for general customer inquiries related to BDM accounts.
- Communicate with the engineering team regarding installations and engineer visits.
- Manage trial and loan equipment, maintaining accurate records in the tracking spreadsheet.
General Sales Administration
- Respond to live chat inquiries.
- Answer phone calls and provide customer support.
- Process orders and ensure timely completion.
- Handle online orders, including creating company accounts, contacts, opportunities, and quotations.
- Process Radio Links orders efficiently.
People & Collaboration
- Maintain professional relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Utilize support from other departments to maximize efficiency.
Corporate Responsibility
- Engage in company-wide initiatives related to charity, community, and socially responsible business activities.
- Ensure all inquiries are handled in accordance with company quality procedures and standards.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in a sales support or administrative role.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM software.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
