Icom IC-F2000T is a UHF two-way radio handset with a full keypad and LCD display. Its features include built-in encryption that ensures unauthorised listeners cannot intercept your conversation, a high-power transceiver for loud, clear audio,  and 128 channels with a channel announcement function for versatile communication across large teams.

Rugged, Waterproof Design for Outdoor Use

The IC-F2000T is equipped with a waterproof Li-ion battery capable of 14 hours of operating time in power-saving mode. The casing of the digital radio is also completely sealed to prevent dust and moisture from rendering it inoperable, with an IP67 waterproof rating confirming its suitability for use outdoors even in harsh weather. It can even cope with being submersed in shallow water for up to half an hour.

Slim, Lightweight and Versatile to Wear

Despite its rugged build quality, the designers at Icom have come up with a design that is beautifully slim. Measuring less than 25mm in thickness and weighing 240g, it is comfortable to carry in a pocket or on a belt. The radio can be used with a waterproof speaker mic (sold separately), a headset mic and/or an internal speaker.

Advanced Safety Features for Lone Workers and Teams

For on-site personnel safety, the IC-F2000T features a built-in motion sensor that can detect the position and state of motion (or non-motion) of the handset. This is programmable so it sends an alarm when it detects certain types of motion, such as the unit shaking during a chase. This can also be used as a Man Down feature, triggering an alarm when a fall is detected or there is no motion. Lone worker remote monitoring can also be programmed.

Along with the IC-F1000 series, the IC-F2000T is one of 6 versions in a range that includes VHF as well as UHF radios, as well as non-display models. All radios in the series have built-in 2-Tone, 5-Tone, CTCSS and DTCS signalling capabilities for group communication and selective calling.
