Multiple controller configurations are possible, including the use of an optional desktop microphone and external speakers. By using the built-in Bluetooth capabilities of the radio, third-party headsets can also be used for hands-free communication. 1024 memory channels are available for use with 128 zones, and the radio supports a wide frequency coverage to ensure a communication channel is always open. MIL-STD rugged construction, along with IP55 dust-protection and jet water resistance, will ensure that your radio can withstand even the harshest conditions indoors and out.

For police applications and other areas where privacy is paramount, an optional UT-134 encryption unit allows for upgrading to 256-bit AES.
