Delivering Value, Without Compromise – the licence free LT6100LF two-way radio is the most affordable radio solution within the LT6000 series, because the user does not need to purchase an Ofcom licence to access the airwaves. The LT6100LF radio makes use of free-to-air public spectrum in the 446MHz band.

LT6100LF is a licence free two way radio, suitable for construction sites with an IP67 dust and water protection rating, making it suitable for everyday use by builders and other industries that need a hard wearing licence free radio handset.

This non-display digital radio handset was designed for simplicity and reliability. It is an ideal entry-level option for first-time two-way radio users, due to its simple control set-up, which includes a simple push-to-talk button, volume control, channel scan and function switch.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES

The LT6100LF two way radio provides a number of features for health and safety coordination, such as an Emergency Alarm button – which with a single touch can issue a network-wide alert.

The Lone Worker setting requires users to check in with the network at fixed intervals. An alarm will be triggered if they do not check in.

The optional Man Down feature uses a tilt switch positional gauge and accelerometer built into the handset to issue an automatic alert if an unusual movement such as a fall is detected.

The LT6100LF comes with 256 available channels and allows users to create up to 10,000 call groups on selected channels, rather than having to broadcast to the whole network. It also supports direct one-to-one private calling and digital voice recording/play is and optional feature. Other optional features include, Bluetooth and GPS.

The LT6100LF encrypts all radio communications as standard, maintaining privacy even if the call frequencies you are using is picked up on external devices. It also comes with a Remote Kill function which means a handset can be disabled if lost.

SYSTEMS SUPPORTED

This hybrid radio autodetects digital and analogue, and will operate in either analogue and digital modes.

Lugra two-way radio handsets support both direct mode operation (DMO) and trunked mode operation (TMO). DMO is an easy, convenient and cost-effective way to use two way radios as the handsets communicate directly with one another, without the need for any other equipment. TMO provides a better quality of coverage over a wider area (both indoor and outdoor) by using ancillary equipment such as antennas and repeaters.

Suitable for use indoors and out, with the capability to work on VHF and UHF frequencies. VHF offers better signal range in open spaces where there are few obstacles, while higher frequency UHF radio is better indoors and in built-up areas as the signals can pass through walls and objects with less interference.
