The sister handset of the Motorola DP2400e, the DP2600e is a display radio with a crystal clear black and white screen and half keypad. It features 128 channels with easy navigation between call and data functions and operates in both analogue and digital modes, providing cost-effective connectivity in all situations. Compared to its predecessor, an improved receiver boosts range by up to 8 percent and, like the rest of the revamped MOTOTRBO range, benefits from up to 28 hours of battery life with the innovative IMPRES smart energy system.

The cutting-edge IMPRES audio system provides consistent sound quality in all environments, with SINC+ advanced noise cancellation technology making sure messages are clear and intelligible regardless of background noise. It also features intelligent audio, meaning the volume automatically adjusts to compensate for background noise.

For all its advanced features, the DP2600e is straightforward to use with a standard push-to-talk button and a range of flexible communication options. The ability to make and receive private and group calls mean you can communicate with individuals across your organisation without disturbing others. The DP2600e also supports pre-programmable text messages, which are sent via one of three programmable buttons. There is a vibrating belt clip option alerting the wearer to a call or text discreetly.

Built to deliver reliable performance in tough environments, the Motorola DP2600e is waterproof to IP67, meaning it can withstand being fully submerged in up to two metres of water. It is also tested to MIL-STD 810 D, E, F and G for resistance to shock, vibration, temperature extremes and humidity. TIA4950 certified models are available for use in hazardous locations where flammable or explosive materials are present.

Motorola DP2600e Handheld Radio Safety Features

The DP2600e comes with a range of enhanced safety features to help ensure every worker is safe. Lone worker monitoring requires operatives working alone in hazardous environments have to check in with colleagues at regular intervals. If they miss a check in, an alert is issued. There is also an emergency calling function and priority interrupt, which overrides in-use channels when critical communications need to get through.

In addition,  privacy features prevent others listening in on your communications and radios can be remotely disabled if they are misplaced or stolen.
