The Hytera PD665G handheld digital two-way radio combines slick, robust design with advanced functionality. A high quality device with LCD screen, the PD665G is the Hytera PD665 radio with added GPS and safety features.
Encased in a high-quality metal frame, the Hytera PD665G comes with an IP67 rating, meaning it benefits from a high level of dust and water resistance and can withstand the harshest environments, including complex industrial processes. With an ergonomic design only 27mm deep, this sleek and slim DMR digital radio is convenient to carry and offers effortless communication at the touch of a button, with a full colour display for easy access to call features.
To help keep teams safe, the PD665G features an emergency mode that supports one-touch alerts. Lone Worker monitoring triggers a prompt if a handset isn’t used in a fixed period of time, and then issues an alert if the prompt isn’t responded to. Not included on the standard Hytera PD665, the ‘Man Down’ safety feature alerts others when lone workers are injured.
The GPS version supports satellite location tracking, so in an emergency situation, colleagues can quickly locate and find the person in need via their radio.
With the standard 1500mAh li-ion battery, a PD6 series radio delivers at least 16 hours of battery life in digital mode, and 11 hours in analogue. With the optionally available 2000-mAh battery, this increases to 20 hours.
Developed in compliance with the ETSI Digital Mobile Radio standard for conventional DMR operation, the PD665G delivers superior voice clarity and integrates well with Hytera applications for flexible communication in all workplace environments. It can also operates equally well in analogue mode, supporting both VHF and UHF frequencies, and making it the ideal companion for digital migration. Its versatile extends to its ability to connect with telemetry, integrate into telephony, or expand capacity across multiple sites and larger teams.
With 1024 call channels available and advanced frequency resources, this digital DMR handheld radio can handle high communication traffic with ease – vital during emergencies. It is also compatible with digital trunking protocols that multiply channel capacity so more calls can take place simultaneously. Using Hytera’s own pseudo-trunking and XPT (extended pseudo-trunking) technologies, the PD665 can be operated in TDMA direct mode and pseudo-trunk mode. It also supports 40 bit enhanced encryption as standard for secure communication.
The PD665 requires an Ofcom licence to operate.
