Lords Cricket Ground

Lord’s Cricket Ground asked Brentwood Communications to supply them with two way radios for the season. They wanted the radio equipment to provide reliable coverage, and maintain the health and safety of everyone in the ground – especially on match days.

Lords Cricket Ground, which combines high-tech and Victorian architecture, has a large crowd capacity of 28,000. They needed to hire a range of two way radios to assist the stewards, security and catering to carry out their duties efficiently.

For example, the stewards would need to manage the safety of the public viewing areas, plus control the entry and exit of fans at the turnstiles. Similarly, the security team would need to search patrons, support response teams, and protect both the boundary and players.
