Emergency Stop

There may be a time when the only way to protect someone in mortal danger is to stop all machinery in its tracks. Our ‘Emergency Stop’ solution alerts crane operators and truck drivers when they’ve failed to see someone in the danger area. To initiate this facility, we install a radio unit (with a large ‘Stop’ button) in the Control Room. The controllers can then alert both crane operators and drivers of the danger, by means of a warning light and audible alarm fitted in their cabs.


GPS-enabled radios allow members of the Control Room to track the position of radio users on a real-time display. When used in association with the ‘Man Down’ facility, it allows controllers to pinpoint stricken colleagues and to guide the rescuers.
